Danson Festival
This weekend the Izwe team attended Bexley's very own Danson Festival. We were based in the Talk Back Cafe with councillors and staff from the London Borough of Bexley. We'd like to thank everyone that took the time to talk about izwe and bexleytalks.com.
We really enjoyed being able to share the festival with everyone; seeing the sights, meeting people from around the borough and enjoying all the entertainment on offer. It was a great weekend, and we hope that everyone we met can make it to bexleytalks.com and join in the conversation about how to make a difference in Bexley.

I think the Danson festival has gone downmarket. Too many traders and fairground type stalls. The craft fair is really tacky and most traders do not sell things they make themselves. There is no major event in the main arena. The festival may appeal to teenagers but not to me.
